try as I might, I can't reproduce when running plasmashell with WAYLAND_DEBUG=1
from the command line:

WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 plasmashell --replace </dev/null &>~/Desktop/ab.txt

but when I run plasma 'normally', I can repro easily.
