I'm surprised though that nobody mentions how this occurs when shutting
Discover down as it's triggered by ~FlatpakBackend.
I see there's some duplicates that refer to FwupdBackend which had a similar
problem and we solved them there by using async APIs and keeping the logic on
the main thread.
