Firstly, this issue is still present in Plasma 5.26.0 and since it wasn't here
in Plasma 5.25.0 it should be considered a regression. Secondly, it could also
be caused by Qt, frameworks or something else that was also updated in the same
time period. Finally, when this issue occurs only the image is frozen but apps
continue to operate normally, meaning that it is also possible to get out of
this situation by blindly logging out (using keyboard for example).
