clicking on the app does NOT launch app.
note that
Launcher > Places > History > Files > ANY ENTRY
does work eg. clicking on home will open home in Dolphin.

Launcher > Places > History > Applications > click any entry

Nothing happens

Apps launch as expected via Launcher > Applications ...
By "Launcher" I mean the button on the far left of the desktop menu bar that
open the menu for accessing applications/shutdown etc.
