            Bug ID: 459893
Summary: Krita smart patch makes the replacements a bit blurry
    Classification: Applications
           Product: krita
           Version: 5.1.0
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Unspecified
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Tool/Smart Patch
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: cenokeh...@canyona.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I'm using krita 5.1 on windows and playing around with the smart patch. It
works (kinda) as intended, but a side effect is that sometimes the area it
replaces is a bit blurry and I can't remove it very effectively be it with
krita itself or GIMP or whatever. Why does this do this? Is this supposed to
happen? Playing around with the tool settings doesn't seem to make a reliable
way to know what's happening.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any image in krita 5.1
2. Use the smart patch tool to remove something
3. See what happens

OBSERVED RESULT
Sometimes (and it's unpredictable when this happens) is that the smart patch
tool makes it blurry. Sometimes a bit blurry and sometimes very blurry. It's
hard to predict what the smart tool will do next upon using it.

EXPECTED RESULT
I expected it to replace the selection with stuff that is around it to make the
background look like nothing was covering it to begin with and not be blurry.
