I know this is unfortunate, but it is how it is, you're adding text to the
document, we need a font that supports that character, so we add that font to
the file.
Could it be done better, yes? But we sadly don't have the people to code that
better way to do it at this time.
FWIW this is mostly something that needs improvement in poppler, not in Okular
itself (though some stuff may be needed to change in okular too)
