--- Comment #14 from craig_jack...@bigpond.com --- For anyone else experiencing this, the fix for me was to add the audio widget to my panel *alongside* my system tray, then configured my system tray audio volume to be "always hidden". That way, I only see one audio volume widget in my panel (I'm using latte dock, but same applies to the plain old KDE panel I reckon).
