STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select a layer to create a selection on
2. Pick the POLYGONAL SELECTION TOOL, or activate with shortcut key.
3. Click on the canvas to create selection
OBSERVED RESULT
Most of the time when I try to draw the selection the canvas doesn't react, it
doesn't create the selection lines like it used to. Sometimes it does work and
I'm not sure what determine when it works, but it doesn't happen that often.
EXPECTED RESULT
Whenever I pressed the shortcut or button for POLYGONAL SELECTION TOOL, I
expect it to work normally and create selection areas when I click on the
canvas area. This worked just fine before I updated to 5.1.0, previously I used
5.0.2
