Thanks.  I tried editing the keybindings text file on disk but it only
shows the default bindings, not the alternative ones.  I tried
re-assigning the "new transaction" shortcut to Alt+Ins rather than
Ctrl+Ins but KMM would not recognize the change (it performed no
action at all).

I'm using KMM 5.2.1 from April of this year
Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Kernel: Linux 5.15.0-46-generic
Architecture: x86-64
Desktop: Dell OptiPlex XE2
