Regardless, the presence of

> QSGRenderLoop::handleContextCreationFailure

in the backtrace tells me that it's a graphics-related issue. There are a few
possibilities:
1. The 3rd-party wallpaper effect is at fault for causing a graphics glitch
2. Your graphics drivers are at fault for not handling this condition properly
3. KWin is at fault for not handling this condition properly.

1 and 2 are outside of KDE's control, so I'll move this to the kwin component
for now so the KWin maintainers can see if there's anything KWin can do to
handle it. If not, it'll most likely be up to your graphics drivers to handle
this better.
