We could conceivably move it into plasma-workspace or something, but distros
might do the same thing and patch it out due to how old it is.
But the point is valid, and indeed it does seem like a problem that this
software isn't regularly released. It should probably be added to either the
Plasma release vehicle or KDE Gear.
I'll see what I can do.
