--- Comment #2 from Leonardo <odraenco...@gmail.com> --- When I created this ticket I was unaware of how poorly implemented fill layers were. See https://krita-artists.org/t/fill-layers-appear-poorly-optimized/34387 In summary: a single color fill layer ALWAYS performs worse memory-wise than a normal layer filled with a flat color. They can't be used like firealpacas's or Clip Studio Paint's 8 bit layers at all. Regardless, I mean, just look at the dialog. The "color" tab shows one color button to open a dialog to pick the color. The other tabs, which are far more complex, have all the settings on the tab. Like "pattern" shows a list of patterns for you to click on. You don't have a "select pattern" button that opens a dialog for you to choose a pattern. So I still think there you should be able to pick a color straight from the layer's properties without opening a second dialog, though iirc it was made this way because some users preferred the system color picker, so if it were changed it would have to have a convenient way to select the color on the layer dialog PLUS a button that works like currently to open the system color pick dialog for users who need it for some reason. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
