You can always disable it by going to Configure Krita -> Advanced Color
Selector, so I don't really consider it a bug as much, though it would be
potentially a good idea to include the configuration button on the zoomed in
selector.

"Hide Popup on Click" works but only in the "When Pressing Middle Mouse Button"
mode. This is certainly a bug.
