I have the same issue on Fedora 23 Plasma 5.7.3 on QT 5.6.1. Plasmashell just
uses up more and more memory (as well as CPU to some extent), and gets more and
more sluggish over the course of a day or so. For example, clicking on a
taskbar button takes a noticeably long time to bring up the clicked
application.
Restarting it with `kquitapp5 plasmashell && sleep 5 && kstart plasmashell`
restores snappy operation.
