I suppose a plasmoid that executes the command to start Krunner when pressed is enough. My optimal case is a button that can be pressed that opens Krunner, whose behavior to open in the center is specified through the Global Theme, not by user interaction in System Settings. Does such a thing exist? However, I do think that search is kind of a strange plasmoid. From what I understand, it uses the same backend as Kickoff and Krunner? Ironically, Krunner has a pin option like Kickoff and the System Tray, but Search does not. So I guess my question is, what exactly is the purpose of Search besides being extremely sleek and minimal?
