Uninstalling and reinstalling will not help. Check whether it helps to reset
Krita's settings:
https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration
You should also check using Task Manager whether there is something else
running on your system that takes a lot of CPU.
Please also attach the output from help->Krita Log for Bug Reports and
help->System Information for bug reports to this report.
