Product: dolphin Version: 20.12.3 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: critical Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: elias_0000_0...@yahoo.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. Frequency of bug often :( OBSERVED RESULT Dolphin (through KDE ?) is creating uninterrupted calls ("D" in htop), which cannot be killed for Trash.so. I turned off and then turn on on the disk that there was the problematic "process" and then process continued. I could run Dolphin again, but when pointed to the specified HDD that there were the trash.so "D" processes, was hanging as a "D" state too. I Tried even to kill plasma and restart (it showed as parent process). Didnt work. I had >10 processes in state of "D" most related to Trash.so and the other ones to Dolphin. EXPECTED RESULT To not create such calls SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Frameworks 5.80.0 Qt 5.15.2 (built against 5.15.2) The xcb windowing system Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) Release: 11 Codename: bullseye ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I dont know how to update dolphin to newer version in linux. https://ibb.co/KVtq38J -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
