            Bug ID: 457127
Summary: The "Loading more" screen should not be modal
           Product: frameworks-knewstuff
           Version: 5.94.0
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: ad...@leinir.dk
          Reporter: a...@laxu.de
                CC: alexander.loh...@gmx.de, kdelibs-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

The "Loading more" screen should not be modal

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click get new wallpapers
2. scroll down in the list

OBSERVED RESULT

Before reaching the bottom, knewstuff starts to load more items. During loading
more items, it hides the current list of wallpapers and displays a progress
bar. This way the user cannot interact the with list of loaded items and loses
the focus of where he is looking at when looking for nice wallpapers.

EXPECTED RESULT

The "loading more ..." Text and possibly progressbar could be displayed
non-modal at the bottom of the list and replaced by new items as soon as they
are loaded. In many cases, the user would probably not even see the "loading"
text when loading starts before scrolling down the last bit. In other cases it
is at least still possible to interact with the list as it is before loading
more items and there is no switch between content - loading screen - content
again.
