Bug ID: 457060 Summary: [Wayland] Cannot adjust second monitor resolution if application is fullscreen Product: KScreen Version: 5.25.3 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: common Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: gerbils...@gerbilsoft.com Target Milestone: --- Assume the following display setup: 1. Laptop with 1366x768 LCD 2. TV connected using HDMI at 1280x720 3. mpv running full-screen on the TV Attempting to set the TV resolution to 1920x1080 results in nothing happening, though Display Configuration appears to have been successful. Un-fullscreening mpv and trying this again works without any issues. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Run mpv fullscreen on the second monitor. 2. Use Display Configuration to change the second monitor's display resolution. OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens, though Display Configuration acts like it was successful. EXPECTED RESULT Second monitor should change resolution. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Kernel 5.18.10 KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 Not sure if this is Wayland-specific or if it happens on X11 as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
