Hm, Norton doesn't exactly have a good reputation, but it doesn't sound like it
could be related. Could you also check the latest nightly stable build? I was
going to release 5.1.0-beta2 today and that does have some changes to
copy/paste, although nothing that could explain a growing delay.
See https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Stable_Windows_Build/ -- just get
the zip file and unzip to the desktop or another place and run from there.
I'll also ask the person who last worked on copy paste to check whether we have
a memory leak somewhere.
