Bug ID: 456661 Summary: Key binding conflict when F11 is doubly-bound to full screen mode Product: gwenview Version: 21.12.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: gwenview-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: hungryninja...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 150573 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=150573&action=edit Observed Result SUMMARY Gwenview gives a warning when the F11 = full screen keybinding is set for both the system and the application, and disables the key binding altogether. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure Gwenview to use F11 to enter full screen mode. 2. Configure KDE to use F11 as its full screen mode key. 3. Start Gwenview, e.g. by opening an image file. OBSERVED RESULT See attached image. Gwenview disables the key shortcut altogether due to the perceived conflict. EXPECTED RESULT No conflict message, and F11 key works for full screen mode. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 22.04 LTS KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Setting the F11 = fullscreen key binding from system settings gave a warning about the system key binding conflicting with an application key binding. I don't remember for sure, but I think it was for the same action (fullscreen). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
