            Bug ID: 456634
Summary: Opening a module and then decreasing its width/height
until it disappears will still show the module as
                    being selected
           Product: kate
           Version: 22.04.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: janbidle...@protonmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Kate automatically dismisses a modules' window, if its width/height is too
small. However, in that case, the is still visually shown as selected/expanded

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kate (am assuming a default configuration with the placement of
modules)
2. Click on the Git module
3. Select the divider and move it completely to the left until the git module
window disappears

OBSERVED RESULT
The git module on the left is still highlighted as if it were open

EXPECTED RESULT
The git module on the left should not be highlighted anymore as it was closed.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0
Qt Version: 5.15.5
Kernel Version: 5.18.9-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Something worth noting about this, is that in the "pseudo closed" state, it is
actually possible to select the divider and move it back out again, something
that's not visually indicated in any way.
The state seems a bit buggy as well, as sometimes random black rectangles
appear on/near the divider if I put my mouse on it.
