`shutdown now` command hangs kded and slows shutdown

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use Plasma for a while
2. Use `shutdown now` command instead of the gui
3. See slow shutdown
OBSERVED RESULT
Shutdown is very slow, `journalctl -b-1` shows plasma-kded.service was killed
after a few minutes
EXPECTED RESULT
Shutdown would be as fast as the normal, GUI shutdown button in kickoff
