This affects me with LineageOS 19.1. There seems to be a special permission
called "All files access" that allows the desired behaviour. Since pretty
normal apps like Adobe Acrobat and Solid Explorer have this permission on my
phone, I would assume this is somehow a standard permission (not exclusive to
LineageOS) that could be added to KDE Connect.
