I am also seeing this issue. I deleted several accounts by going to [settings >
configure kmail > accounts] and removing the relevant Identity, Receiving, and
Sending entries.
After this, the folders for each server persists, but displays (Offline) next
to its name. When attempting to right click and delete, the delete option is
greyed out.
