Thanks for your report and happy to hear you found a solution that works four
you!
I guess there is not much we can do about it on Kdenlive's side if there is a
mismatch between the render time of different formats since this is the
responsibility of your dependencies MLT and FFmpeg. However you can try to
speed it up by adjusting parameters like "Use parallel Processing"
