STEPS TO REPRODUCE
I have a Dell XPS13 9370 laptop with debian12/Plasma/X11.
I connect the laptop to a Dell DS-1000 docking station which is connected to an
external monitor.
The external screen is used as a secondary screen, which is right of the
primary screen.
Sometimes, when connecting/unconnecting the laptop to the docking station, the
external screen becomes superimposed to the primary screen.
I did not find a 100% reproducible case, sometimes it happens and sometimes
not, but it happens quite often (say, 10% of the cases).

OBSERVED RESULT
The secondary screen becomes sometimes superimposed to the primary screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
The secondary screen should stay on the right of the primary screen.
