SUMMARY
It is currently possible to filter out rooms by their homeservers in the
"explore rooms" tab via the following procedure:
- Switch the dropdown to "Global"
- Click on the text, and replace it with your own text.
This is unintuitive, not only because none of the other dropdown entries allow
editing, but also because after editing the text, triggering the dropdown again
will still show "Global"
A potential proposal would be to have an "add" button of some sorts, which
prompts the user for a homeserver, which then gets added to the dropdown menu.
