Apps not auto-starting as expected is definitely a bug, and showing the errors to the user doesn't change that. We can say it's a bug in the XDG parser being too strict, in which case it's RESOLVED UPSTREAM. Or we can say it's a bug in the specific apps having malformed desktop files, in which case it's RESOLVED DOWNSTREAM.
