SUMMARY
The .well-known file is not required by spec. It would thus be useful to have a
fallback should a HomeServer not provide that file.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Host a homeserver without providing .well-known
2. Try to login to an account on that homeserver
OBSERVED RESULT
Account login fails
EXPECTED RESULT
Account login should succeed
