Bug ID: 455562 Summary: Top-left and Top-right quarter window snapping puts System Monitor under top panel on some displays Product: kwin Version: 5.25.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: multi-screen Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: indecisiveautoma...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When snapping a window to the top-left or top-right of a display, the System Monitor window goes partially under the top panel on all except one of my displays, which is a scaled display marked as my Primary display. On my other displays it will go underneath their panels. I cannot reproduce this with any apps other than the System Monitor. Hiding window decorations doesn't stop this either. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open System Monitor 2. Snap window to top-left or top-right of a secondary display. 3. Window will appear under panel OBSERVED RESULT System Monitor appears under panel of every monitor that is not my scaled primary monitor, though I am not sure if this is related. EXPECTED RESULT System Monitor should not appear under panel SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.18.3-zen1-1-zen (64bit) KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.9.50 Qt Version: 5.15.4 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Tested on Wayland.
