Bug ID: 455142 Summary: Tinted color scheme doesn't always apply to titlebars Product: Breeze Version: master Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: window decoration Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: ryu.ketsu...@outlook.com CC: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org, uhh...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY For a little while, I've noticed how the titlebar takes a while to update to a new tint if the wallpaper is changed, for example. In my example, if I change wallpaper once, it doesn't update (and I noticed it doesn't apply immediately to toolbars either). If I update it again, the tint does update but to the one it should've had previously, not the current one, so it's always offset to the previously applied wallpaper, not the new one. This gets more visible when using a tool like Koi to update the color scheme between light and dark along with the wallpaper but it still happens on manual wallpaper change too. Only way to circumvent this is by manually switching to another color scheme and reapplying it. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have a color scheme with tinted windows based on highlight colors/wallpaper 2. Change the wallpaper a few times OBSERVED RESULT Titlebar doesn't update to the most recent tinted color EXPECTED RESULT Titlebar update to the most recent tinted color like the window itself SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20220608 KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.18.2-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i3-7020U CPU @ 2.30GHz Memory: 11.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 620 Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 81FE System Version: Lenovo ideapad 330-15IKB ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Using KDE Plasma from Unstable Repos for openSUSE Tumbleweed -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
