Bug ID: 454753 Summary: 'Confirm Send Signal' menu UI improvements Product: plasma-systemmonitor Version: 5.24.5 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ksysguard-b...@kde.org Reporter: tcb...@protonmail.com CC: ahiems...@heimr.nl, plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 149406 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=149406&action=edit What the bug description says SUMMARY *** The dialog box that pops up asking user to confirm send SIGKILL or SIGTERM is needlessly big, and the button to affirm is ambiguous in meaning *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open System Monitor and switch to the Applications tab. 2. Right-click on an entry within the applications list-table. 3. Hover over 'Send Signal' and choose 'Kill (KILL)' or 'Terminate (TERM)' from the dropdown menu that appears. OBSERVED RESULT A dialog box pops up. Not only is the dialog box very large - with about 50% of it being unused whitespace - the button to confirm is labelled 'Quit', which is ambiguous as to whether it means 'dismis and abort action' or 'confirm and go ahead with sending the signal'.
