You have created a derivative version of an original image and have enabled the option to hide the original image in the version settings. The original images (group) then disappear. Two options, you choose "as new version" when saving in the editor or you deactivate the hiding of original images in the version settings. Otherwise we would have to make an exception for groups when hiding them through versioning, but that could cause problems for other users who use versioning intensively.
