You want System Settings > Input Devices > Mouse > Check the checkbox for
"Press left and right buttons for middle click".
If you don't see it, you don't have the Libinput driver installed, which is
required for this functionality.
If you do see the checkbox but it's disabled, select a different device in the
combobox at the top of the page.
