STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kate and set into Vi input mode
2. Make a selection (visual mode) from right to left, or from down to up. (Use
'v', 'V', or mouse)
3. Press ESC to cancel the selection
4. Press 'gv' to reuse last selection
OBSERVED RESULT
Can't correctly select last selection
EXPECTED RESULT
'gv' restores last selection
