Bug ID: 454371 Summary: Plasmoid adaptive transoarency behaviour inconsistent Product: plasmashell Version: 5.24.90 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: 31...@tuta.io CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 149194 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=149194&action=edit Kickoff is opaque when it shouldn't be SUMMARY *** Plasmoids decide seemingly at random wether to be translucent or opaque. Not even explicitly setting the panel to opaque in edit mode works reliably. One pattern I've noticed is that when adaptive transparency is on and I maximize a window, the panel gets opaque and the plasmoids get translucent (if they weren't already) unmaximising the window sets the panel back to translucent, but the plasmoids to opaque. The plasmoids are doing exactly the opposite of what they're supposed to do. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Maximize window 2. Minimize window 3. Open kickoff, sys tray, whatever OBSERVED RESULT Kickoff is opaque, panel is translucent EXPECTED RESULT When panel is translucent, plasmoids are translucent. When panel is opaque, plasmoids are opaque SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 36 +marcdeop's copr KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.94.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
