It seems there are other similar requests asking for unifying the wallpaper
setting experience. However, it seems it is complex and it cannot be done right
now. However, it would be great if the SDDM KCM in System Settings gained the
ability to select images from the wallpaper list to be placed as the
background.
Currently, the system allows the user to select custom images but does not show
the wallpaper images anywhere. If this menu was brought into the selection, it
would be easier for users to set the wallpaper background in SDDM and have the
same image in all areas of the system.
