I tried this on both a local folder and a cifs mounted folder and both are the same. 1. Create folder "test" 2. In chromium download an image into the folder 3. In Dolphin, navigate to parent folder containing test 4. Hit F5 to refresh - no thumbnail on the folder 5. Double click the folder to enter it 6. See the thumbnail generated 7. Return to parent folder 8. See the thumbnail on the folder This was the case for both local and samba mounted folder for me. Seems like a different bug.
