--- Comment #3 from juan <jumase+fo...@disroot.org> ---
I confirm this behaviour on version 20.12.0 from Debian stable repositories. In
the hope that this could be solved in latest version (22.04.0), I tried the
flatpak one; unfortunately it still happens on that version.

As mentioned on bugreport https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419137 , all
dead keys don't work —accute and grave accents (ú, ù), circumflex (û),
diaeresis (ü). I mean this doesn't seem to be related to a specific keyboard
layout, not even to an specific language. I've tried with spanish dvorak and
qwerty, but none of them worked as expected. There are also reports with
Catalan (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436830) and French
(https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419137) layouts that suggest this is
about dead keys in general.

I've read about something related to QT libraries but I don't know how to test
that, and also the reference (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118862) is
quite old.

I'm usin XFCE, I don't know if that has anything to do. However, I use kmail,
appimage of kdenlive, akgregator, and all of them recognize dead keys properly.
