I am very new to the subject, but I'd be interested if you could explain a
little further.
What is that you don't like about using public Cloud service + CryFS (or w/e),
exactly?
Is it about the fact that you don't trust Cloud services in general?
Is it because, perhaps, this use case could corrupt the files/folder in case of
an internet connection loss?
Is there something else I don't see
