Bug ID: 453198 Summary: Switching to a pane in Details view mode results in a file opening Product: dolphin Version: 22.04.0 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: panels: folders Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: thwr...@gmail.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY After my recent update, I can't easily switch to a pane that is in Details (table) view mode. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Dolphin in split view mode. 2. Set one of the panes to the Details view mode. 3. In the Details pane, navigate to a folder or resize the window so that the pane is full of files with no white space below. 4. Switch focus to another pane. 5. Left-click on empty space in the Details pane (to the right from a file name). OBSERVED RESULT The file to the left from the mouse cursor opens because hovering over the empty space of a table row has the same effect as hovering over the file name on the left side of the row. EXPECTED RESULT Focus switches to the Details pane and nothing else happens. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: openSUSE Tumbleweed, 5.17.4-1-default KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.93.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It can be bypassed by right-clicking (opens menu) and then left-clicking (closes menu) on the empty space, but that's annoying. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
