Bug ID: 453137 Summary: Kubuntu 22.04, Bluetooth Headphones connect automatically, then immediately disconnect again Product: Bluedevil Version: 5.24.4 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: system tray Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: braxner.mich...@gmail.com CC: m...@ratijas.tk, now...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- On a fresh install of Kubuntu 22.04, when I turn my properly paired bluetooth headphones on they automatically connect to the system, then immediately disconnect again. The headphones thus have to be manually 'connected' every time. When the headphones are turned on, the 'connect' sound is heard, the plasma widget shows the headphones as connected, then (within 1-2 sec) as disconnected. If Clementine plays a song during this procedure, no music is heard, i.e. the output is not switched to the headphones, but Clementine stops the play with the error message "pa_stream_writable_size() failed: Connection terminated". I tried to find a 'preferred output order' in Settings-Audio/Bluetooth and the Audio Volume widget, but was not successful. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Switch paired bluetooth headphones on. OBSERVED RESULT Headphones initially connect, then immediately disconnect again without ever delivering any sound other then the 'connect'/'disconnect' sound EXPECTED RESULT Establish the connection, take over sound output.
