Bug ID: 452973 Summary: windows in Icon-only Task manager and Task manager will not show on correct screens Product: plasmashell Version: 5.24.4 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: tko...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY I'm using Kubuntu 22.04 with two (or sometimes three) monitors. One connected via HDMI, optionally one via VGA and laptop screen. I have configured task managers for every screen to show only applications "From current screen". However, sometimes after plugging off and back some monitor, the task manager does not show windows from its screen, but instead from another one. I'm not sure about exact steps to reproduce this, but going into sleep might be also related to this. It is very similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365246 . This was happening also on the same notebook when running Kubuntu 18.04 STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have applications running 2. plug off and plug in external monitor. Go into sleep, plug off monitor 3. plug in monitor 4. resume from sleep OBSERVED RESULT Task managers do not show correct applications from their screens EXPECTED RESULT Task manager should show only application from their screens SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 22.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION My graphis card: Intel HD graphics 5500 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
