Merging the Overview effect and Thumbnail Grid task switcher isn't really
technically feasible, sorry.
Suggestions for new features usually make sense only in the context of having a
problem that needs solving. Is it that the Thumbnail Grid task switcher doesn't
appear on the screen you're currently looking at when it appears?
