Bug ID: 452305 Summary: Renaming a file then down arrow Product: dolphin Version: 21.12.3 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: saund...@pagpaintball.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** When renaming a file I had it renamed then figured I could press down arrow instead of return to move to the next file, or least see if this was a hidden feature. Instead it screws up the renaming in a weird way. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In dolphin have files names something like text01.txt text02.txt text03.txt 2. Press F2 on file, rename text01.txt to textb.txt, do not press return 3. Press down arrow 4. Press down arrow again OBSERVED RESULT hard to explain, watch video EXPECTED RESULT either the edit reverts to default and unselects the file or it saves the change and moves to the next file not in edit mode.
