SUMMARY
If you convert a raw file created with Canon RP to dng, it not only different
to dng created with Adobe DngConverter (at least the preview), you can use this
dng only in darktable, in rawtherapee the colours are a totally mess. The dng
from DngConverter works as expected.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start digikam add raw a file to a queue
2. select convert raw to dng
3. run
4. create another dng from the same raw file with Adobe DngConverter
5. compare the preview of both dngs
6. open both dngs with darktable and rawtherapee
OBSERVED RESULT
the dng created with digikam shows totally false different colours in
rawtherapee, the dng created with adobe shows correct colours.
EXPECTED RESULT
the dng created with digikam should also work with rawtherapee.
