SUMMARY
Once the screen is locked (no matter whether deliberately or because of the
screen lock timer), it is not possible to unlock again. No password field or
anything else is shown, just the clock. Typing the password blind also does not
work. System is otherwise responsive (on other TTYs and via SSH).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock screen or wait for automatic lock.
2. Try to unlock.
OBSERVED RESULT
Lock screen is still shown.
EXPECTED RESULT
Return to unlocked desktop environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Problem appeared after a bunch of updates were installed by the admin last
week. Version that was installed before is unfortunately unknown.
