            Bug ID: 451715
Summary: Attempting to configure previously unused wifi network
                    adds ethernet connection
           Product: plasma-nm
           Version: 5.24.3
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: applet
          Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
          Reporter: kishor...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When you right-click on a previously unused wifi network in the applet and
click 'configure', the configuration window that opens is for a new Ethernet
connection, and not a new Wifi connection.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the 'Networks' applet in the system tray
2. Right click on a WiFi network that you are not connected to (and haven't
used before)
3. Click 'configure'

OBSERVED RESULTS
The opened configuration window is for a new Ethernet connection (e.g. there is
no field for the WiFi password, and the default name suggests it is an ethernet
connection)

EXPECTED RESULTS
The appropriate configuration window should be opened for a new WiFi
connection.
