--- Comment #1 from r0ckhopper <rock_hop...@gmx.com> --- I've found a workaround to access the root account settings for Appearance by using kcmshell5 (e.g. "kdesu kcmshell5 kcm_colors" and "kdesu kcmshell5 kcm_lookandfeel").
